HOW TO SHOOT A HOUSE IN UNDER 6 MINUTES USING YOUR SMARTPHONE
As the old saying goes, time is money. Real estate professionals are among those who would deeply relate to that adage the most, especially those who take their own property photos for listings.
Very few have the luxury of spending hours on a single photo shoot. For most, capturing images for a listing is just one of 20 other things on their to-do list for that day.
What if we told you there was a way to condense a photo shoot into the time it takes to hard-boil an egg, while still achieving incredible results?
All you need is SnapSnapSnap downloaded to your iPhone and a tripod.
Don’t believe us? Just watch and see for yourself! Our co-founder Brad gets it all done in under six minutes, with some time to spare.
Make It Snappy
There are a few things that can slow you down on a photo shoot, and one of them is having to fiddle around with camera settings.
With SnapSnapSnap, Brad says all of that is hidden behind the scenes.
“There are no settings needed to be imported into the app,” he says.
“It comes straight from download good to go.”
It's all thanks to the app’s innovative bracketing technology, which turns your iPhone into a more powerful camera.
The results are stunning, and Brad says the app takes all of the guesswork out of real estate photography.
“Using an app like SnapSnapSnap honestly makes it a breeze,” he says.
“It generates the best possible outcome on every image taken.”

Preparation Is Key
In the video, Brad says the key to shooting a house quickly is getting it prepped beforehand, by turning the lights on and keeping the doors open.
“It’s such an important thing in real estate photography,” he says.
"You’ll notice [all of the doors] are open... it creates flow and space in your images [which is] very, very important.”

Brad’s quick tips:
- When taking a photo facing the sun, cover the sun with your hand to reduce any solar flares in your final shot. Don’t worry – our expert editing team will edit your hand out as part of our 17-step Image Enhancement process.
- The app defaults to a 0.6x zoom on the camera, which is ideal, as it takes photos that are as close as possible to how the eye sees the space.
- Bathroom photos are notorious for having the photographer’s reflection visible in the shot. With SnapSnapSnap, simply hit the shutter, step out of the shot and let the app do its thing – our editing team can digitally remove the tripod from the final photo if needed.

Get Snap Happy!
By the time the six minutes is up, Brad has managed to take eight photos of the home and uploaded them to be edited, all on SnapSnapSnap.
“Honestly, it is that easy to get professional images edited, straight from your phone,” he says.
The best part is, SnapSnapSnap is free to download from the app store. Add it to your iPhone today and discover how it can transform your workflow.
